I am a formed educator, having worked in Montessori schools, has the forest school Level 1 certificate and is passionate about theatre. I really believe that it is by observing and listening to each child that one creates a relation with them and may help them grow. To me each child is unique and has its own rhythm. I believe that children learn through their own curiosity and only need the
right environment and a cooperative adult to guide them to do so. I am fun, respectful, communicative and loving.

Educator
Since my graduation with an Education degree from USP (Brazil), I have been interested in alternative methodologies to traditional education. Living in Spain, I specialized in Waldorf Pedagogy (Rudolf Steiner) for early childhood. When we moved to the United States, I started my studies in RIE (Magda Gerber/Emmi Pikler). And with my daughters entering the
Montessori school in Miami, I learned more about her method. That's how I started studying Maria Montessori’s approach, which continues to this
day, the most recent being the AMI Orientation Course 0-3 training.
Due to my family being constantly on the move, I try to be useful wherever I go and contribute to projects that inspire me and in which I believe in.
On this journey I have already collaborated with Escuela Libre Micael, Escuela Waldorf de Aravaca,
Bass Museum of Art and Atelier Montessori, in Lisbon. This is my second year in Mimosa and my
role is to share my theoretical and practical knowledge, thus supporting Carlota's beautiful and courageous initiative. I recognize that the
opportunity that children have here to move freely and autonomously in a friendly and respectful environment, surrounded by nature, is extremely important.
